Question about changing plans and inclusive extras

Hi all,

I wonder if somebody can answer my question.

If you are currently pay for the Unlimited Full Works for iPhone which gives you Apple One, and you upgrade your phone and this time you opt for a cheaper plan that only gives you Apple Music, how does Apple get notified about you downgrading and no longer having Apple One?

Furthermore, will you have to sign up for Apple Music again or is automatic?

Hi @SammyxVine90

Apple is automatically notified when your Apple One subscription from EE ends.
If you opt for a plan which includes Apple Music, be sure to activate the Apple Music inclusive option on your EE account.
Once you have done that you can link it to your existing Apple Music account by visiting Activate Apple Music on your mobile phone web browser.

Just note that sometimes there is a delay with a service ending due to your Apple One/Music billing cycle, so you may need to wait a few days for the old service to end on your Apple account before being able to able to link the new subscription.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. What about if I upgrade and I keep the same plan. Do I need to activate Apple One again because I have upgraded for another 2 years?

@SammyxVine90

If you keep the same plan there would be no changes on our end so no need to do anything on your Apple account either.

An update to your subscription would only happen if you change plan.
