Looked last week to price for sim only deal to upgrade free to essential plan for £13 on 1st March 2025. This would not incur 2025 price increas. Looked today and same plan is now £14.50. This is cheeky way to get £1.50 added before 31 March 2025.
Anyone else a bit peeved.

Have today 1st March upgraded my mobile plans to 1 month sim only.
Last week plan was at £13 for essential. Today it was £14.50 (cheeky ee).
As they already increased this plan by £1.50 now concerned if they intend to increase me again on 31st March 2025 or will I be safe till March 2026.
Anyone help with this please.

@BlackLab2 Just because there’s annual price increase at the end of March it doesn’t mean that EE cannot change the prices of tariffs that they are offering. No you’ll not get any price increase on that tariff come the end of march.
Why do people assume what they see last week will be the same price this week ? I’ve said his to a few people asking about when to change tariff to avoid this years price increase. There’s no guarantee the price will remain the same and I’m sort of happy I was proven right all be it at your expense.

Thanks for info. Agree not a problem with price increases as you said. Just wanted confirmation it wasn't going to go up again on 31st.
Much appreciated for your reply
