Hi.

I’ve noticed On my up coming bill for this month that I have been charged for 3 x picture messages but I haven’t sent any photos by text message.
I tried to open the link to see the he numbers I was supposed to send them to but it keeps coming up error - please try again later

anyone advise what I can do?

Thank you

Karen

@KarenK4 If your text messages included any emojis, that would usually count as a picture message, and is charged as such. Also, sending a text to a lot of people often counts as a picture message. It’s just the way phones do it.

can I turn emojis off. I was charged £54 for picture messages last month. Total bill was £94 my usual bill is £41

why wasn’t this highlighted before. Very very annoying

Apple & Android do work differently here, but there's a general EE help page on this - https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/getting-started-and-upgrading/using-your-phone-features/why-are-some-...

Android phones certainly give an onscreen notification of "text message converted to MMS" or something similar.
