I’ve ordered a new phone and they’re sending me a new sim, can I change my number on my new sim to my old number or if I keep my old sim will my calls and data still work

Can you explain a bit more background here, because that will be crucial as to what you're trying to do... some things that would be useful to know...

Are you an existing EE customer? What is the reason for having a new phone - is this an upgrade from an existing EE phone, or ordering a brand new connection? Where is your "old number" currently?

Yeah I’m upgrading my old phone to a new phone, I thought I keep just keep the same sim but I’ve had a message to say my new sim is being dispatched and I just want to know will my data work if I just keep using my old sim in my new phone or can I get my number transferred to my new sim

A replacement SIM is often supplied with upgrade phones incase, for whatever reason, there's a problem with your current SIM or it doesn't fit a new phone.

If your existing SIM is working and fits your new phone, there's no need to unnecessarily replace it.

And there shouldn’t be any problems with the data is stop working at all 

@Aimee221 , there should be no problem, you can just put your old SIM card in the new phone, and it should work as normal, because it is the SIM card that has your number and you can put it in any unlocked phone and should work, so long as your SIM card has not developed a fault, which should not be the case, if it is working in your old phone.
