I am still in contract until next year, with times being hard for everyone atm, is there anyway ee will lower my monthly payment as I cannot afford each month

I would suggest you ring customer service and speak to them and see what they can do, but not sure they will be able to lower your monthly payments over a longer period, unfortunately, but you can always try and see if they are able to help.

Contractually you've agreed to an agreed monthly fee for at least your minimum term, but if you are in financial hardship I strongly recommend a read of this EE help article followed by a call to EE C/S on 150 to discuss your specific circumstances.
