Hi @debzkarma4u

Thanks for coming to the community.

If a late payment is due to be applied, it could potentially be applied to the account the day after the payment is due as @Chris_B mentioned, and that would then show on the next bill.

If you are finding that the payment is going to be late, I'd recommend giving our billing guides a call to discuss your options. They can see if the payment can be pushed back.

There is more on what could happen with late or missed payments on our Help if you can't pay your bill page.

I've been with ee for 6 years and have always paid my bill between the 8th and the 13th sometimes the 14th and have never been charged a late payment. When it has been a few days late when I've phoned to tell them I have been told it's fine and nothing would happen on my account and it never had but today they said its because since Xmas its been late and they let me off but charged me this month. It just seems like an excuse when as I say this is an account I've had for 6 years.

Thanks for the extra information @debzkarma4u

If your bill is due on the 6th and sometimes being paid a week late, that will always run the risk of incurring a late payment fee. Did you discuss changing the due date of the bill with the team when you spoke to them?
