Paying by Debit/Credit card

Just a quick clarification - I notice on the payments section there is a FAQ saying why am I being charged each time I pay my bill?  When I look at the document they refer you to there is no mention of this, and I can't seem to find any other mention of this on the site, so just assuming that FAQ in error - so just to clarify is there charge to pay a bill by card payment? TIA

Hi @djbdane

Thanks for coming back to us 🙂

If you would like to reduce the direct debit amount before the bill is produced, there is no extra charge for making a card payment to your account.

Thanks.

Hi @djbdane.

Is it possibly referring to a late payment charge?

You have eight days to pay your bill after your billing date before a charge would effect you.

No I don't think so - it calls it a payment handling charge in the FAQ at the bottom of the payment page.

I can't seem to find details of the 'payment handling charge' anywhere.

No biggie but occasionally on my previous network I used to like to pay the airtime part off before the billing date by card just to make monthly budgeting a bit easier, creating a credit on the account - and would maybe like to do the same here, keeping the DD in place of course - but not if I'm going to be charged to make a card payment.
