Paying Too Much For 25GB SIM only

Triarii

I am paying £30.21 per month for 25GB SIM Only.

Online today (01 Apr 26) there is an EE SIM Only deal for £19  a month / £21.50 from 31 March 2027 / £24 from 31 March 2028.

Or Online today (01 Apr 26) I can have an unlimited data EE SIM only deal and no EU Roaming Charge for £26 a month  / £28.50  from 31 March 2027 / £31  from 31 March 2028.

It seems I have to phone up to change deals, which seems way more complicated than it needs to be. Why can't this be simple to do?

PS - all day I'm getting the message "Unfortunately, we couldn't log you in, but you can still buy or upgrade - just choose what you want to do."

@Triarii : You can't downgrade to a cheaper plan mid-term, but only in your upgrade window from 30 days before end of term.
