I changed from a pay as you go to a sim monthly contract in September 2025 as I got a good deal of £20pm for unlimited texts, mins and data but added scam guard on for extra £1.50 so my monthly bill was £21.50, a few days ago round 21st/22nd Feb 2026 I could see I can add another plan of monthly sim so as my partner is pay as go on ee I seen a good deal for essential sim unlimited £16 instead of £32 which included unlimited text min and data, added scam guard on for £1.50 so the bill would of been £17.50, I have emails of proof of purchase, but today on 25th Feb 2025 when I called up EE to keep old number the gent on phone told me it was £27pm not £17.50 as he can see on his end of the computer which had me confused I repeatedly said no that's not right I wouldn't of purchased it but he said no that is the price which i was confused as i have the email stating £17.50 pm but he offered me for £22 a month instead but as the person I am I hate confrontation, socially awkward and can't stand my ground so agreed to the £22 a month as I was rushing to leave for work so wasn't thinking straight, beeb on my mind all day now im wondering if he was just saying it to get commission for a customer or not coz why would my email invoice be different im thinking of calling them up about it and wanted to know opinions I know its only £5 extra but its not the point, I got they deal coz its manageable for me to afford

If you have evidence of a price that is not being honoured, CS are indeed the first destination to resolve this. If that doesn't happen, the formal complaints route is open to you.

Didn't realise I could upload pictures on my recent post but here is screen shots of my bill for new sim essentials sim unlimited for £17.50 and the gent on phone said it wasn't that price it was £27 according to his computer, screenshot with red circle shows how much it was before discount and screenshot with yellow circle shows my monthly bill, like I say I know its only £5 to £22 that he offered but I want what I want to pay for
