I have my paid my contract off in full but it still says the direct debit will be taken in full on the 28th, what do I need to do?

once billed you can not make a manual payment as the process to take the DD will have begun because you received the bill.  Any overpayment will be refunded in due course.

Just to add, I know it's tempting to cancel the direct debit, but it's best not to. People do this, thinking they owe nothing, and then EE bills them, the direct debit fails, they end up with a late/no payment on their credit file for many years. It's not worth it.

@meganox   I’ve been thinking about this.  Are you saying you’ve reach the minimum term and now have a bill.  If that’s the case then yes you’ll still be billed as you haven’t given notice to terminate.   The contract at the minimum term changes to a 30day rolling contract so you don’t get cut off.    This wouldn’t be helpful if you were abroad and that happened. Contracts are not fixed term contracts that have a minimum term period and once that’s been reached you have to decide on what you want to do.
