I recently upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro Max on an Upgrade Anytime plan, but I have not yet received the new device because it is not in stock - which is fine, I'm happy to wait.
However, I have received a text from EE stating that a £440 'Non Trade In charge' will be added to my bill because I have not returned my old device.
Am I really expected to return my old device before I have received my new phone? Is it right that the charge will be added to my bill, or is it just an automated message that I can ignore for now?

@mrbluelips I wouldn’t ignore it I’ll call customer services about it as obviously you can not send a device in without receiving the new device first.
