New phone

In late January I upgraded to a IPhone 13 on a no frills contract

i thought the phone came free with the contract as it has always done

got a nasty shock when an extra £740 came out of my bank account today

what should I do - don’t want this phone

@Watfordtaf52  you have a contract you pay for the device.  It’s a £700+ device and EE are not going to cover that cost.  Not sure why you’ve been charged £740 in one go as you pay for this over the term of the contract.  Unless you choose to pay it all when taking out the contract.

  The days of getting a free phones with a contract ended years ago  when the costs of phone went up. 

And there’s nothing you can do as you agreed to the contract and any cooling of period ie 14 days from getting the device is long gone.
