New customer bill and pay

As a new customer i have received NY first bill and just texted today to say that payment  by direct debit has just been taken.

That suggest to me that the delay between bill and payment is 9 days.

Can anyone confirm that that is the normal period  please.

Mobile or BB bills?

BB bill payment is about 2 weeks. I think mobile bills are about 1 week.
