I paid an upfront cost for my device , moneys left my account but it says I need to call ?

Why would it say this?

The payment won't have gone but is ring fenced by your bank. If we have asked you to call then they need to clarify some of the details you have provided them for a contract/upgrade. 

You'll need to call to find out. If you don't your application won't proceed further.
