When getting a contract for the first time do I get credit checked? And what if I have no credit? Can I still get a contract?

@Kieranc18  It’s not about having credit it’s about your credit rating and if EE are happy to provide you credit you’ll get the contract.   ( the device is on credit )

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Chris_B : If you've not taken out credit, you're not likely to have a good credit rating.

@XRaySpeX    It’s down to EE if they choose to give credit.  You can have a good credit rating and still get refused a contract.  Just look through the forums.   You don’t have to of had credit in the past to obtain a contract.

Just playing down the chance of obtaining a device on contract because of not having credit in the past isn’t proactive.   @Kieranc18   Doesn’t know until they try and sorry to say you don’t know also.
