Has anyone else heard this?
I have been unable to get EE to acknowledge NatWest's approval for my credit security rating. NatWest say it's a point of sale issue at EE's end. My local EE store say it's been a problem for 3 years or and that they're losing customers as a result. I can't get through to the billing team at EE to explain the situation without being cut off. Very frustrating.

@AgadorSpartacus I think you’ve been told a load of rubbish. I says this because this is the first time I’ve seen this posted on here. And I’m pretty sure like 100% sure that there will be EE customers who have Netwest bank accounts and don’t have any issue with new or upgrading their contracts.
If it’s true in anyway it’ll be Netwest blocking EE from doing this as they give EE the necessary information for them to be able to run the check to get this information in the first place.
Try calling customer services

I have called customer services. I keep getting cut off. Credit referral underwriters have twice told me via email to get the bank to resolve it but the bank say there's no problem with the authorisation. I'm stuck in the middle.
I'm sorry Chris B but I don't understand your second paragraph.

@AgadorSpartacus the information provided to EE for the purpose of a credit check would come from the credit reference agencies Natwest would have no control over that.

My credit rating is very good and it would seem according to Experian that my status with EE is "unknown".
I find it very puzzling.

I'm not aware of any problems like this with any banks, @AgadorSpartacus.
I would definitely recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so that they can check the reason why this isn't going through.
