I would kindly like to understand why I was told one thing by a EE retail employee then find out that it’s not true while browsing the website? At the point of purchase, I asked about how I could apply an NHS discount to my contract, to which the employee replied “Don’t worry you don’t have to do it now, you could do it any time afterwards” I didn’t even think twice since I was confident that they wouldn’t spread misinformation about such a crucial aspect of the contract. It’s just upsetting that such a practice would be used in order to make quick sales.

Discount codes may be applied by calling CS within 30 days of purchase if it wasn't at PoS when buying a new contract or upgrading. They cannot be applied mid-term.

I’m not entirely sure what the use of this reply was, as it is evident by my post that I am already aware of the real terms and conditions of the discount after the fact…
