Moving abroad

Hiya,

I am moving abroad to Portugal this week, but I have a phone &SIM plan since May 2022, it should end by May 2024, but once I won't be living here any longer, and my SIM doesn't work at all in Portugal, how can I just pay for my mobile phone and cancel my SIM, is therefore any chance of it?

Thanks xx

You can either:

  1. Continue paying for it even if you don't use it until end of min. term.
  2. Contact EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your mobile contract. As you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.

Good afternoon @lcarol.

How lovely moving to sunny Portugal.

If you cancel your SIM before moving away you will be charged a termination fee as your account will still be under contract.

You can call from abroad on +44 7953966250 and provide your 30 days notice just before your account comes out on contract.

I hope this helps and wish you all the luck with your move.

If you have any further questions please be sure to let me know,

Katie
