Moved abroad

I have just recently moved to Belgium. As we are out of the EU the roaming charges are racking up! Can I switch to an international SIM card or is there a way to keep my number? What do I do about my EE contract? Does it have to be terminated?

Hi @Laura275

Have you moved there permanently?

Do you know if your phone is unlocked?

EE is a UK network operator, and EE mobile numbers are UK ones.

It sounds like your long-term solution will be to have an account with a Belgian network operator and either cancel your EE account or convert it to PAYG.

To do the latter, you will need to be in the UK.
