Told the tablet was free  but I think reading I could have got reduced plan. The staff at E were whispering, “ is that your third to day, pointing at tablet”  . Before that they tried to sell me a sim. They  to,d me these were the only ways to lower my phone plan

Hi Leanne,

I went back to the store and it was explained to me that the tablet was free.  The Customer Service guy was very helpful and gave me time.

Checking my bills from the previous year at home later, I saw that it had only gone up by the £6 -7 which I was told at the time of sale.

I still dont think it is clearly explained to customers.  In my humble opinion, the second number on the bill should be explained during the sale as well as the fact that the tablet is linked to the account holder.  I was initially going to gift the tablet but changed my mind.

On the whole, I am happy with the way things are.  The matter is resolved.

Kind regards

Bandele

No it hasn't, the store has taken it back and said I'd be refunded what I paid and now my bill is trying to charge me over £200, everytime I try get it sorted I get no help. Been going on over a month now, I keep getting told i will get help and will be sorted but never is.

Hello @SS1112

Welcome to the community.

When did the store take this back?

Have you been able to report this with our customer care team who can look into your account further?

Katie

This has just happened to me and I contacted customer care who told me that there is no cooling off period and that it is down to the managers discretion if a refund is to be authorised, and to be honest I already have mental health problems and this is really not helping me at all.

Hello @Postie61

Welcome to the EE Community.

I am sorry to hear this has happened.

Are you able to revisit the store in which this was purchased from?

Katie

Hello Katie,I will try to get back to the store on Monday but judging by the response from the customer care advisor and from the other customers experiences I don't hold out much hope of reaching a satisfactory outcome.
