Mid sold a contract

I have upgraded to a new phone on the new flex pay contract but I have since spoken to a ee advisor to be told because I have EE broadband I’m able to get my airtime for £10 a month instead of the £21 I’m now paying… the £10 is for unlimited everything whereas at the moment I’m only getting 5g data and unlimited calls and texts. I have spoken to EE about this and although I should have been offered this deal they will only put me on the new deal if I cancel the flex pay contract within 14 days send my new phone back (which took me hours to set up) and then be without a phone until they have received the phone back and only then will they put me on the £10 airtime flexi pay contract and send me out another new phone ..I cannot be without a phone and don’t know anyone who would lend me their phone while I wait for EE to sort this out. Has anyone had any thing like this happen and got it resolved without losing a phone for two weeks ?

Hi @Ann471

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you have been advised by our mobile guides this would be the way to get the plan you would like and they are unable to change this until the phone has been returned and the contract dates have been amended I am sorry this would be needed.

If you would like to see if there is any other option available please give us another call on 150 and the team will check this for you.

Leanne.
