When is the cutoff (if any) for contracts signed in March to be exempt from that months price increase?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Michael213
Thanks for coming to our community.
New contracts taken from 1st March 2025 wouldn't be affected by this years price rise and wouldn't see an increase until 2026.
As @Chris_B said, we do show planned increases when taking out a new plan so you know what to expect.
Hope this helps 🙂

@Michael213 It’s usually contracts taken out in March. But you’ll be informed of this if/when you do take out a contract But you have to remember that EE could change tariff prices from April onwards so you still end up paying it someway or another.

Hi @BlackLab2,
Welcome to the EE Community
Yes any plans taken from 1st March 2025 would not be subject to this years price increase, the first rise for a plan taken from this date would be in 2026.

Well that’s not really true is it
Reason is because there was a tariff for £13 before march which would get a increase, so I waited untill 1st march but that tariff will not get the price increase until 2026 but you have already increased the £13 tariff to £14.50 so basically anyone getting a new tariff on the 1st march will already have the price increase added..
so we are all going to pay more which ever way you do it

@Meridius . EE are allowed to change prices.
Anyone who assumes prices remain be same year in year out needs to accept their delusional.
