Long term customers

If been a customer of EEs for ages and am now out of contract with a sim only plan. It appears to me that customers such as myself pay over the odds while new deals with phones included are less than the amount I pay for a SIM only. I am guessing the advice is to swap providers to get the best deals. I suppose EE are dependent on confusion of their older customer base who tend to stick with what they know. I must admit I am guilty of this. Anyway just wondered if this is an issue that has come up before.

@Elton58  And yet other people say it’s the other way round.   A sim only contracts is much cheaper than a sim/device contract when you work out the cost of the device.

Always look for deals that are available via your account.   There’s been some with 12 month discount on sim only contracts.
