Hoping someone can help as I've spent hours on the phone to the call centre without much progress. Does anyone know if a late payment is made within 30 days whether its classed as late with EE. There was an issue with my direct debit and I didn't realise the payment did not go out which I didn't realise. I only knew after I received a text. I then paid immediately. I'm very worried as applying for a mortgage. Some creditors only consider it late if jrs over 30 days...I'm hoping this is the case with EE. Any ideas please?

@Sangus17 Any bill that’s not paid on time is classified as a late payment. EE will make 2 attempts at taking the payment if the 2nd one isn’t successful it’s then it’s a late payment and you could incur late payment fees. As you got a text and then paid promptly you should be ok though.

Thanks they didn't attempt to pay it a second time though which is bizarre if they had it would have definitely gone through
