Keep my mobile number

I have been with EE for years but changed from contract to SIM only. I have now upgraded my phone and my new phone is coming today but I am wanting to keep my number. They're sending me out a new sim. What do I do? Also will my sim only contract automatically be cancelled due to me upgrading? Thanks

Welcome to the community,

If your old SIM card fits, no need to use the new SIM card, just put your old one in the new phone and it will work. If you upgraded, your sim only contract will not be cancelled, once you have your new phone, your plan will automatically change to your upgraded plan, this is how upgrades work, it is automatically changed, so you do not need to do anything.
