Is the mobile still in warranty if the contract has not expired

Hello, I got my Samsung galaxy A71 in December 2020, the contact will end in December this year. But 3 days ago It stopped turning on for no reason, at the start the screen kept going from the Samsung logo to black screen and back to Samsung logo and to black screen on repeat without actually going to the Lock Screen, I tried to restart it by holding the power and volume button for 10 seconds but it just repeated the same thing. Now it has been stuck on a blue screen saying downloading for two days now, none of the buttons produce and response and it doesn’t even allow me to factory reset it, just stuck on the same blue screen and sometimes the Samsung logo.

so I would like to know whether it’s still in warrenty and whether EE is responsible for repair?

 Thanks in advance

@Helen419   The device has a 24 month warranty and you can go directly to Samsung for that.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you Chris. Is any Samsung store accept my mobile for repairs? What documents do I need to bring for this repair?

 Thanks.

You should be able to arrange a repair either by a Samsung repair centre or using EE repairs - whichever best suits you.

When I recently had to get a Samsung device repaired, Samsung had a 2ish week delay for a repair slot while my local EE shop did it within 2 days. But this may be local - check with Samsung and your local EE store.

https://ee.co.uk/local-repairs is a good place to start.

Many thanks for information sharing. It’s really helpful.
