I looked on the EE website and it does not detail how to cancel a direct debit and only says that to pay by debit card you have to just make the payment. My recent bill failed to take the money out of my account via direct debit and it's caused a lot of trouble that I don't want a repeat of. I know the benefits of direct debit and the risks of cancelling it but, due to recent events, I trust myself a lot more to keep track of payments than EE. Please, do not try to convince me to keep my direct debit. Someone tell me how to cancel it so I can make payments by card how I please.
