How do I switch to sim only?

My contract expires in 44 days, when I go to the upgrade section on my account all I can see are phones.

Indeed so - the early-upgrade window was changed from 45-30 days back in May.

A handset upgrade will take effect immediately on requesting it - subject to the usual delivery times etc.

A request to migrate to SIM-only can be made from the opening of the window, but will be scheduled to take effect from the expiry of the minimum term.. potentially 30days later.

Thanks for coming to the community. 

If you are inside the last 45 days, you should be able to choose to move to a SIM Only or upgrade to take another phone.

Have you tried in both the EE app and when logged in on the website?

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your response. I have now tried on both the website and the app, neither of them are offering me sim only options.

I'll try again tomorrow, if I still can't see them should I call someone?

Thanks for confirming @alblue. I'm really not sure what would be stopping them from coming up, or even showing a link to them if you are due to upgrade and seeing phone options.

If they don't appear for you, the best option would be to speak to our upgrades team and they can go through the available plans with you and get one set up for the end of your current contract.

Doesn't bother me that much as I have to pay the same regardless. I'll assume it's not a breach of the contract I agreed 2 years ago.

I was hoping to save a few hundred quid by moving to a sim only earlier but they like to squeeze you for as long as they can
