Had a device charge I’ve not had before

Have a device charge that I’ve not had before? My partner joined my EE account 3 months ago and have not had this charge before but this month I’ve had another £21 on top of her normal contract and my contract, that was never agreed in store or made aware of. This has to be a mistake? We’re already paying for both phones in one lumped direct debit payment…

Hi @True3  What does your bill in MyEE say this charge is for?

It’s says flex pay. However my contract is £70 my partners is £30 and they did take £100 out of my account but then a separate charge of £20 and something pence. So I’ve paid for both our contracts but I have no idea what the additional £20 charge is for. If it’s for my partners device then that shouldn’t have happened as it has already been paid with the £30 I have already paid. Very confusing.

Good evening @True3, welcome to the EE Community!

With FlexPay plans, you should see separate debits for the airtime plan and handset cost, but it would seem odd for this to suddenly appear for the first time several months into the contract.

We don't have access to your account via this forum to check this directly, but if you reach out to our customer care team they'll be able to say for sure what's happening with this.
