Hi everyone
Was just looking for some advise, I have already decided to leave EE as have a 3rd party website that can get a much better deal.
My contract fully ends on 16th December ( in a few months) and understand that you need to give 30 days notice.
Do I do this 30 days before my contract is due to end or on the 16th?
I will be looking to bring my number with me so just trying to establish the best time to order new phone
Many thanks.

You can give cancellation notice 30days prior to the end of your minimum term, which would then take effect 30days later.
If you want to port your number, do not give this notice as you will need a PAC instead. A PAC and 30days notice are mutually exclusive - you use one process or the other.

@Laurajane871 Any time in the last 30 days as you would have already paid your final bill. Just don’t make any out of allowance charges. Also not cancel the DD straight the way as you could receive a partial refund.
