This is advertised as being able to gift data to family and friends - how does this work? And also unlimited data can be used on a smart watch
So my partner wants to join EE, she has an iPhone which she owns outright so only needs a SIM only deal, can I get an additional SIM (cheapest being a 2 year deal for £10 a month, 5gb data), she can then activate that in her phone. I then gift her data as when and on top of this my daughter has an Apple watch which my partner will monitor from her iPhone but we want a separate SIM for the watch so it has it's own number. I understand the watch needs to be paired and set up via the iPhone but we don't want my partner's number or my number linked to the phone. I own a Google Pixel 8 so not having any part in this Apple charade but my daughter is only 10 and we aren't prepared to give her a phone just yet until she is in high school and the watch gives her some freedom and independence until then and we can contact her and vice versa.
Does this make any sense and can this done?

@AndGCo : You may only gift data between nos. on the same EE a/c.

So if I order a SIM whilst logged into my account would this technically be linked to my account? Same for the safer SIM £7 a month? These SIMs would then cover my partner and daughter

Yes, as an additional SIM.

You can't activate a Safer SIM on an Apple Watch to the best of my knowledge. What you would need is a Standalone Watch Plan (sometimes referred to as a Family Member Plan). This would give it's own number and allowances.
You may need to speak to EE Customer Services to add this.
