Forced to up grade sim plan

After years of being on a simple but effective and inexpensive sim plan, I suddenly get a text message telling me it’s being discontinued and they (EE) are up grading me to a £16 a month sim plan ( it was £12)!!

Am extremely annoyed, why do EE treat us like this, good paying customers, I never ring up with complaints, I pay my bill every month and have been with EE for upteen years.

Now am paying more and on a 24 month contract again, disappointed with EE

Out of curiosity, how long out of your minimum-term are you? To ask a different way, when did you take out your current plan?
