Flex Pay Annual Price Increase

Hello after some help please. EE rang me after me requesting to leave as found a new deal with sky. The retentions team rang and gave me a really good deal that matched sky. It’s for the new iPhone. I can only see Flex pay contracts, the annual increase I’ve told is based on my airtime which I’m fine with. However from reading these posts I think there is the traditional contracts available still. So for example I thought my airtime as £28 and phone say £50 for 24 months so when there is the annual increase say it goes up 10% my bill would increase by £2.80, this is what I was told. It seems however the “contract” is £77 a month. Does that mean when there is the increase it’s based on the £77 or £28?? What I’ve been told doesn’t marry up and it massively influenced my decision. Please help

@Nealeb : With a traditional contract any annual increase is on the total of the contract, e.g. 10% of £77 in your example.
