Hello! I am leaving the UK for a year and I would like to end the contract for my mobile line, but carry the mobile number to a new PAYGo. I am already abroad and I have brought with me the PAYGo SIM (the contract is an e-SIM). Could you help me figure out what I need to do?
Many thanks!

Hi @lucianalara
The PAYG SIM will need to be activated in the UK or your number will not work. To cancel your existing pay monthly contract SIM you'll need speak to EE CS on 150 and give 30 days notice.
Thanks

@lucianalara You can not activate a SIM card when abroad and you can not migrate a number to a SIM card when abroad. This all has to be done when within the UK. All you can do is terminate the contract and if within the contract term still you’ll be required to pay off the remaining term of that contract.
