Hi. My contract comes to an end on the 23rd January, and I've been told I can ring up on the 24th December( I know its christmas eve and not to ring that day), and i was told I could ring up about going sim only as the phone has been paid for.
What i would like to find out is, considering I have the 3 inclusive extras included in my Full Works Unlimited plan and I want to continue on with that contract, I should be able to get that with them still included, right? All that should happen is that the price is reduced by whatever the phone was costing over the lifetime of the contract??

If you're on one of the old contracts with a handset and plan combined, then no, you won't just stop paying for the phone and the price gets reduced. You do get a 10% saving after a few months if you do nothing, but it's not value for money.
I'd recommend calling and discussing your options. Moving to a similar SIM Only plan is probably going to be better value. The new Full works plans include what you have now, and also a watch plan, so whilst they look like you get less, it's because they have bundled some extras into the plan.

To add to the reply above, it's fair to correct a popular misconception here.
Your contract only ends as & when you explicitly give disconnection notice or use a PAC/STAC. All that happens on 23rd January in your case, is that your minimum-term ends.

Hi, and yes I know. I've been with EE for nearly 15 years and I usually either go to monthly rolling contract after it ends or get a new phone, but seeing as Samsung have ruined the galaxy ultras by taking away Bluetooth functionality with the s-pen and not upgraded the camera etc, just the processor and ram mostly, I dont see the point in upgrading to a newer galaxy ultra yet. I was kinda hoping I'd just be able to get a discount for the phone itself and carry on the contract I had. AH well, I guess I'll see what they can do for me to help me keep my 3 inclusive benefits if at all possible.
