Can you please explain a little more, what you are trying to do and why you are having this problem?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Generally a blacklisted phone would not show an invalid sim error. You would see no signal but not an error on screen.

 

Given that you have been advised that it is not blacklisted it sounds more likely that you are trying to use another network sim in a locked device. That's the only time I have seen that error appear.
