Early upgrade?

Hi, I have about 9 months left on my contract, it is a 24 month plan, and my iphone 12 mini won't last that long!  Usually I can get away with my phones lasting the 2 years but this one is awful.  I don't really just want to get the battery changed.  I have looked into other iphones on curry's, argos etc to pay via finance, but is there a way to upgrade early and avoid the fee, or at least not pay so much?  I know I can upgrade 45 days early if I choose a plan higher than my current one, but I don't really want to do that again.  Any advice? TIA

You appear to have already investigated the alternative options, you will have to choose the most cost-effective method for your circumstances.

You could contact CS and ask if there are any account-specific solutions they could offer you, but modern-day smartphones are expensive devices (Apple especially so), and these costs have to be met somehow.

Hi @chughes1987

You should speak to EE CS on 150 and see what they can offer. It maybe cheaper to pay off your contract.

Thanks
