EE sends letters saying I have an overdue amount, but….

Hello,

EE has been sending me letters saying I have an overdue amount. I cancelled my contract a couple months after it finished. Anything I owed should have been taken by direct debit with my last bill. I rang customer service to have it paid off, but according to them I do not owe anything. They’ve got nothing on their ends saying I owe them anything. I am confused what to do. I have gotten 3 letter now. My credit scores been affected badly as I been reported for missed payments.

what can I do in this situation?

thanks In advance

Hi @Fauzan

Your contract doesn't just end your minimum term ends. To cancel you need to give 30 days notice. Did you give 30 days notice?

If you've received letters you must have received emails and text for months after you cancelled. It sounds like your debt is sold on. Have you contacted whomever is sending the letters?
