EE left me stranded with no service that is their help with my bill i

Entering the title is a major pain. How fitting to my experience.

as of today I’ve no bill in arrears and NO SERVICE.

my bill day is 12th. I called EE on 9th as I have cash flow issue since December that I tried my best to resolve by now but only can next month so I wanted to find out what help I can get with my bill for a short term. The 30-day solution sounds perfect.

 

Except the guide told me to call  back and oh don’t worry if your service gets restricted you can call 150 still!

and then EE - likely right after - began proceeding to restrict my service. I say likely because since 11th I’ve restricted service and it must be set up I presume it’s not a “push a button” exercise.

i tried to call EE 150 today as advised. I can’t. I’ve no data nothing. Can’t use my card either, couldn’t get me food today. 
I was FORCED to pay the bill I called EE to advise I can only afford next month, leaving me £80 for the rest of the month.

and here’s the cling on the cake. EE still didn’t restore the service. All day they had, 2 hours “should only take two hours but may take 24”, I never experienced it not be within 2 hours but now of course it’s not restored.

i sought EE support due to a short term cash flow and issue with one bill. I was even told they can help since I wasn’t in collection before. THIS is how EE helped. I know this will be visible online so I share to warn anyone who has issues with bills, asks EE for advice BEFORE any restriction and gets told wait until the service is restricted and then is forced to pay said bill and even after paying the service remains restricted.

i must add I am a disabled person living alone and with severe mental illness. So yes this thing gave me literal hell that is still ongoing, and I was having concerning thoughts. EE KNOWS I am disabled with such illness.

as of now I can’t call 150. I have a chat open since early afternoon in the EE app. NO JOKE. Not responded to by EE an urs the third chat I opened AFTER paying my bill + 2 hours. I presume tomorrow someone will silently close it not to receive negative response, then they’ll make me wait another day and so on going in circles. I CANNOT EVEN COMMUNICATE THAT THEY LEFT ME STRANDED WITHOUT SERVICE.

 

want help because you struggle with your bill this month? No problem let us help rest assured we can turn your situation 100x worse by leaving you stranded unable to use eg banking (wallet) to buy food and so on and that AFTER we force you to pay the bill you couldn’t afford this month!!
