I had 24 month contract with EE for Iphone. I switched to pay as you go after 24 month. Now EE took 500£ from direct debit. Why should I pay this ?

A straight £500 exactly is an unusual amount - how was this charge shown on your bill?

@Manu2023 , have you checked your bill? I would suggest ringing customer service, they can take a look for you.

Customer service said it is plan change fees (the exact fee is 460.60) . But, I never received any email stating this. I don't understand why I should pay 460.60 although I have fulfilled the contract period.

There shouldn't be any charges for moving to pay as you go if you were out of contract, @Manu2023
Was it an early termination charge? If not what is the charge listed as on your final bill?
Do you have more than one pay monthly product on your EE account?

I didn't receive any bill (Email or msg) for that month nor the bill was reflecting in the mobile application. It was not an early termination charge. CS said it is plan change fee for changing plan from contract to pay as you go.

I don't have more than one pay monthly product.

Hi @Manu2023,
I can confirm that there is no charge to move to pay as you go once outside of any minimum contract periods.
I'd recommend contacting Customer Care on 150 and a member of the team will be able to confirm exactly why the charge was generated.
They'll be happy to help. 🙂
