I have a line on my account for my daughter tried to transfer it to her today so she can start paying herself as she wants to keep the number.she has a good credit score and has never had any credit problems but the operator said she failed the credit check and to try again in 6 months she's in full time work it's only a SIM contract what can I do

If you've not already, it would be worthwhile your daughter obtaining a free copy of her statutory credit report from the 3 main credit agencies. This would ensure there's nothing untoward on there, and is a sensible periodic check in any case.

@rabl Just to point out any discount you get for having that line on your account will be removed if/when your daughter takes ownership of that contract. There will be a discount between 10-20%.
