So as a long term existing customer who pays the bill every month near £300 at times with multiple lines.....currently on x 2 upgrade any time contracts....went to upgrade early 2 days ago found a great plan a few pounds more than the current one with a zero upfront cost, unlimited everything, 1 inclusive extra, free data gifting, upgrade anytime for around £90 per month the only fee was the £100 early upgrade fee....left it in my basket fast forward 2 days that plan no longer exists, they have scrapped upgrade any time contracts and now with less benefits at a staggering £122 per month and £160 mandatory upfront fee (not including the £100 early upgrade fee) amusingly they said if I wasn't on an upgrade any time contract then they could do more also ....that's laughable considering that's what they recommended everyone have not so long ago.....absolute disgrace. At what point is paying more and gaining less acceptable?? The amusing part is Vodafone and 02 have the exact same phone amd contracts but for alot less money upfront and overall, infact they actually offer phone insurance included! What annoys me is that as a long term customer because I am on an upgrade anytime plan I am entitled to nothing, if I take on broadband with them I will get some sort of good will gesture or big discounts (peddling more monthly cost your way like its going to make you happy, the advisor kept on about me taking it on most of the call) and even better if I was a new customer I would get substantial offers they said. Way to take care of existing customers. Absolutely disgusted by this, they up the costs every March and not only that they have just banged around £20-£30 on every single new contract or upgrade. How on earth do they think people can afford that? Bad bad bad.

Hi @T4lx,
Welcome to the Community!
We want to make sure we get you the very best offer available when it comes to your upgrade, so I'm sorry to hear about what has happened when you've gotten in touch with our team.
Our Upgrade Anytime option is available on any Full Works or All Rounder plan, and the cost to upgrade on these plans will be between £50 - £300 if you upgrade between 6-12 months into your plan, though this cost should be the same, regardless of when you speak with us.
Were you speak with the team when you originally looked into this, or did you look online at first?

Hello, I looked online and left it in my basket I then went back online it was gone and I called up they told me that the plan I was looking at is gone and to get close to it I would be paying £160 + £100 and then £122 per month. The plan you are reffering to because it has upgrade anytime on it has gone and been replaced with the new ones. They were not helpful and I'm annoyed even more so that because I'm on the old plan there is nothing they can do unless I get broadband and at that point they could do a deal but I would have to pay £700 termination fee and only then would I be entitled to the new plan and phone at no cost. As a long time customer I have already had issues trying to get our account moved onto our business so it's stuck as a personal account and our bills are extremely high anyway with 3 lines. It is ridiculous. Especially as other phone companies are offering way better deals than ee at this point. So if you have a solution by all means let me know. Thanks
