Hi my contract is ending on the 23 September 2023. I’m leaving EE and want to take my number with me. Why when I go to my account does it says I’ll have to pay £56.48 to “leave early” when I’m not leaving early? Surely I’m already paid until my contract end date as I pay a month in advance which has already been paid? Or would I have to port out on the 23rd to avoid this? Seems a bit backwards since I’m paid up until my end date and I can select “end contract” free…. Hmm
any help appreciated

It's telling you the cost if you ported out today, but if used your PAC nearer your end date so you port out on or after 23 Sept. there will be no early termination charge.

Hi @iruhaku
Thanks for coming here.
The PAC is valid for 30 days, if you leave EE before your plan ends then early cancellation charges would be applied and the contract would end the day the number transfers to the other network.
Please see our What is a PAC Code and How Do I Request One?, Help page for more details.

Hi @Presty66
Thanks for coming here 🙂
You can find the end date for the contract within your My EE app > Plans and Subscriptions > View your plan details.
If you wish to cancel the contract, please see our How Do I Cancel My Contract with EE? for full details 🙂
