@bordeline  you’ll  not get free roaming but if you take a tariff that has a smart benefit you can then use that smart benefit for the roam further pass when need and then change it to a different smart benefit when not needed.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Your contract isn't ending, it's just finishing the minimum term - if you do nothing, it will continue on the same basis as it is now.

However, if you make any change to your plan - which includes dropping to SIM-only, that will then mean you fall under the new EU-roaming regime and you'll be liable for either the £2/day or £10/month chargeable options.

You may be able to get the £10/month "Roam Further" pass as an inclusive option as mentioned above.

I'm on sim only already , contract was 24 months.  So paying £10 on top of my monthly bill? hmmm 02 is way cheaper including EU roaming

In that case, my comment "dropping to SIM only" is not relevant as it presumed you were on a handset-plan.

My comment "if you do nothing, it will continue on the same basis as it is now" stands. If your minimum-24month term is finishing, it follows that you started that term around Sept 2020 - this is prior to the cutoff period of July 2021.

so you are saying they won't remove my free EU roaming if I don't change anything ?

Correct. If you don't change anything, you will continue on the same contractual basis you are now. All that is happening now is that your minimum term is ending.

Unless you explicitly make a change or give notice to disconnect, your contract will continue.
