EE contract was cancelled in May.
Was told by EE agents that I would receive a cheque via post for unused service from the date my number was transferred. Which should total approx 28 days.
Still no cheque received despite being informed this would be received 4-6 weeks.
I’ve not received the cheque nor any details on how to chase this?
Any help on how to resolve this would be great!

@Gaz_A Was your port out in the last 30 days of your contract? Or was it after the minimum term ?

I was on a rolling contract for approx 60 months.
Requested contract to be cancelled 22/05, was told I’d still need to pay the final bill for June despite my number being ported 28/05.
Final bill was payed.
Was told I’d get a refund from the 28/05 onward for unused service and that I’d see a cheque within 5 weeks.
Still no cheque so wanting to chase, but wasn’t given any contact details to do this.

Did you receive a final bill in the post, @Gaz_A?
This is normally sent out about a week after your account is closed and would detail any refunds due.

Hi James thanks for making contact!
I didn’t receive an email nor a letter through the post regarding the final bill.
After the 28/05 I noticed I had been billed despite cancelling the contract 22/05, to which I quizzed with an EE agent!
They stated that the bill had already been generated & needed to be payed, that any unused service post 28/05 would then be refunded.
As I had already cancelled the direct debit the agent then sent me a link to pay directly via card, also stating the refund would be via cheque to which I agreed.
I still haven’t received a cheque nor do I have any contact details to chase this.
Please advise next steps with kind regards
