Charged twice

Just looking for a little bit of help, I paid for my monthly bill via the EE app on the 28th as that was when I got paid. But I then had another £45 taken out of my account today as it was due too come out today? I’m not too sure if the extra money taken will be put back into my bank or it will just be taken off next months bill?

Why did you pay your bill manually when you had a DD in operation? If you have a DD in operation you shouldn't make a manual payment on or soon after your billing date. It is then too late to stop the DD being auto taken in full. Now the extra will be used as credit against your next bill. It won't show on your a/c until the next bill.
