I've just been advised by live chat that if I change ownership of a contract my friends and family discount will stay on there. They also said the new owner could upgrade straight away which contradicts this forum, can you confirm which is correct please?

The process for transferring to a new account says:
All recurring discounts can be kept with the exception of Multi Plan and Friends & Family discounts. Both of these discounts will be removed from the customer's account.
This indicates that the discount would be removed if you were to change ownership.
