Dear EE Customer Support,
I am the user of an EE account, and the current account owner has permitted me to transfer the ownership to my name. The account owner previously contacted customer service via phone, and I followed the instructions by submitting a written request. However, it has been over a month, and I have not received any response. I am still listed as just a user on the account.
I have two concerns:

The published process is outlined under "transfer to a friend, colleague or family member" on https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/manage/change-my-account-in-the-case-of-a-life-event
The derogration from that, that is known on this forum, is that the donor account holder can complete their part of the process in one call, and be issued a password to give to the proposed recipient. That recipient then calls in, quoting said password, and completes the process.
I would surmise that an EE store would assist in so far as calling CS on your behalf and passing the phone to you - as to whether they can complete the process themselves, only they could advise but I would not be surprised if you encountered blank faces. As long as the party in question has access to a phone capable of making calls to the UK, or a web-calling app such as Skype, that is likely to be the recommendation.

Hello @Angel06 ,
Welcome to the community,
This is not customer service and there is no account access and we have no idea who you are. You will have to ring customer service to discuss this, sorry. We cannot check the status of your request, as there is no account access and we have no way of knowing you are.
