Change contract

My 24 mouth contract ends 1st June.
I am looking to cancel to a sim only plan.
on the internet it says I can upgrade or change to a sim only plane 45 days before my plan ends. But will I get extra charges or will it just start on my new sim only price plan. Would it be cheap for me just to wait till 1st of June and then change to a sim only plan.

As long as you upgrade your new plan will just start on your SIM replacing the old plan at the time of the upgrade. You'll just be charged pro-rata for each plan for the time you have it. There's no point in waiting until 1st June; you can upgrade now.
