I need to change the bank account my direct debit comes out of but it won’t let me do this online and I no longer know how to actually speak to someone xx

You can change your bank details under Bills & Payments > Manage Direct Debit.
You will need to be set up as the Bill Payer under Account Settings > Manage Numbers to do that though.
